BARRA DE LA CRUZ, Oaxaca, Mexico (Thursday, August 12, 2021) – The Corona Open Mexico presented by Quiksilver, the seventh stop on the World Surf League (WSL) 2021 Championship Tour (CT), is ON starting at 7:35 a.m. CDT with a full day of competition planned in solid six-foot waves at Barra de la Cruz. The women’s Round of 16 will start the day, followed by the men’s Round of 16. The women’s and men’s Quarterfinals have also been called on for the day. The Round of 16 heats for the women and men will implement the overlapping format.
